Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mount Pleasant Natural Pools. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by us, including the design, construction, and maintenance of natural swimming pools. By working with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Provided

We offer the design, installation, and ongoing care of natural swimming pools that use ecological systems (plants and gravel filtration) instead of chemicals. Each project is customised and detailed in a client-specific agreement.

2. Quotations and Payments

• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

• A 25% deposit is required before any work begins.

• A further 50% once the pool is lined and gravelled, ready for filling.

• Final payment is due upon completion unless an alternate schedule is agreed in writing.

• Late payments may incur interest at the current Bank of England base rate per month.

3. Design and Installation

All pool designs remain the intellectual property of Mount Pleasant Natural Pools unless purchased separately. Natural pools are living systems, and variations in water clarity and seasonal changes are expected. While we aim to meet timelines, delays may occur due to weather, supply issues, or unforeseen conditions.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure we have legal and safe access to the site. You are responsible for securing planning permissions or other legal approvals unless otherwise agreed.

5. Maintenance and Ecosystem Care

Natural pools require regular upkeep, including plant care and debris removal. Introducing fish, chemicals, or modifying the filtration setup may interfere with the ecosystem and void warranties.

6. Warranty and Liability

• We provide a 5-year warranty on workmanship and structure.

• Because the pool is an ecosystem, water clarity is not guaranteed at all times.

• Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided and does not cover indirect or consequential damages.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be non-refundable if work has already commenced or materials have been ordered. Custom products and designs are non-refundable once production has begun.

8. Health and Safety

While natural pools do not contain harmful chemicals, users must always swim safely. We are not liable for injuries or accidents caused by improper use or behaviour.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, materials, and website content are the property of Mount Pleasant Natural Pools and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England. Any legal disputes will be handled through the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
